Englewood Public BeachLocated on Manasota Key at the west end of Beach Road, this public beach offers, restrooms, playground, volley ball, horse shoes, pavilions and picnic tables. Parking is a $1 per day. The beach is open 6am - 11pm. Stump Pass BeachLocated at the south end of Manasota key (take a left at the end of Beach Road), Stump pass beach offers something for everyone. If you're prepared to take a walk, you can find pristine beaches with few other visitors on the Gulf side of the peninsula, or water sports and activity on the Lemon Bay side of the peninsula. Amenities include fishing, showers, restrooms and weather shelter. Manasota BeachIf you follow Manasota Beach Road west to the Gulf, you can't miss it! Full restroom facilities and parking are provided at this beach on the north end of Manasota Key. Blind Pass Beach (also called Middle Beach)This beach is located in the centre of Manasota key (north of Beach Road, and south of Manasota Beach Road). The beach side offers restroom facilities with lots of parking. The bay side offers many coves for fishing or kayaking. Don Pedro Island State Recreation AreaI mile of white sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, this area can only be reached by boat which is just south of Stump Pass on the I.C.W. just past the "no-wake zone". You will find about 20 boat docks await you on arrival. This beach has barbecue grills, restrooms and showers. A great place for shelling! Cayo CostaLocated directly south of Boca Grande and accessible only by boat, the natural features of the island are stunning. Miles of beaches, acres of pine forests, oak palm hammocks, mangrove swamps and a spectacular display of bird life welcome visitors. Overnight camping and rental cabins are available. Gasparilla Island/Boca Grande BeachAlong state Road 771. This beach offers full facilities including picnic tables, freshwater showers and grills and is known for it's white sand and light green surf. The park boasts a lighthouse built in 1890. There is a toll of $3.20 for cars to get to the beach and $2 for parking. Port Charlotte BeachThe Beach complex offers a beach club, tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, fishing pier, playground, pool, restrooms, a snack bar, boat ramps and barbecue grills. Parking is $2.25 per day.
